Ninja Indoor Heated NPD Co-Op
At SharkNinja, I work as a mechanical engineer co-op on the Ninja indoor heated new product developement team. I also worked closely with and assisted the reasearch and developent team. My main projects I work on were the Ninja Crispi, Ninja Flip Toaster Oven, Ninja Double Stack Oven, Ninja Double Stack Air Fryer, and unreleased projects. SharkNinja was a very fast-paced environment that challenged me to adapt an learn quickly. I collaborated with the R&D, product developement, and food science teams to create 5-star products.

Conducted experiments on various heating coils and densities to obtain the even cooking
Work with the Industrial Design team to finalize the visual appearance of the timer, buttons, and other external features

Designed and experimented various vent configurations to improve the wet bulb and thermal performance
Lead a competitor study that analyzed the duty cycles and thermal performance of other industry leading ovens
Assisted the software team in conducting software updates to prototype builds
Collaborated with the China team to validated various design changes for post production ECN’s
Ninja Unreleased Project
Lead an R&D study on various cookware materials and shapes to optimize air fry performance
Designed various wire form racks and assisted the PD in consumer testing to validate the designs
Spearheaded the design of a child lock system
Created rapid prototypes out of metal that were heat-safe and allowed executives to get a feel for the newest design iteration
